Environmently Friendly Grass-Fed Cows
It's spring on the farm and our herd happily feeds on fresh, new grass. We graze the herd on different 1/2 acres of pasture, moving them once or twice a day. This process - called rotational grazing - optimizes the nutrients in the grass, giving our cows the highest quality diet possible. Our cow's free-range lifestyle keeps them happy, and stress-free. They never encounter the stresses of standing on concrete, compacted dirt, or manure which can lead to increased disease, antibiotic and mortality rates.
By feeding our cows grass, we improve not only the health of the cows and their milk, but also the health of our planet. Our grass is "cow harvested" and "cow fertilized." Their food is as local as it gets - underneath their hooves! We don not need fossil fuels to grow and transport food for our herd. As a result, the carbon footprint of our nutritious, creamy milk is far less than its factory equivalent. You can enjoy our products knowing that they are good for you and the environment!

Quote of the Week
In a sound local economy, in which producers and consumers are neighbors, nature will become the standard of work and production. Consumers who understand their economy will not tolerate the destruction of the local soil or ecosystem or watershed as a cost of production. Only a healthy local economy can keep nature and work together in the consciousness of the community. Only such a community can restore history to economics.
