The Green Market

Every Saturday until the end of April, no matter what the weather man says, we host Indiana's only year-round organic farmer's market from 9am-12noon. Come on out this weekend to meet the people who grow the food or make the products you purchase!

The list below attempts to name those vendors who are regular, seasonal vendors who have not notified the Market Master of an absence as well as new vendors or those designated as weekly vendors who have requested a position for the weekend. Unfortunately, things can happen that prevent vendors from joining us even after this newsletter is posted on the internet and on our website. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!

These are the vendors who will be here Saturday, February 2:
* Bluffwood Creek Honey-raw honey products, beeswax candles and soaps.
* Endangered Species Chocolate-organic and natural chocolate bars
* Flower Child Aromatherapy-handmade soaps, sachets, incense, perfumes * Grabow Orchards-breads, pies, dumplings, sorghum, apples, applesauce

For some folks this weekend is all about the thrill of football.  To others (my kinda folks) it's all about tailgating treats.  Spruce up boring chips and dip at your Super Bowl party with these Traders Point Creamery ideas.

- Replace the sour cream or mayo in your favorite dip recipe with tangy and healthy Traders Point Creamery Whole Milk Yogurt

-Add Spicy Fromage Blanc as a layer for that must have 7 layer taco dip

-Shredded Fleur de la Terre adds a  sharp and creamy kick  to a cheese ball

-Top Dad's Famous 5-Alarm chili with a dollop of original Fromage Blanc

-Keep it fresh with lots of sliced fruit and bowls of Traders Point Creamery Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt for dipping

-Serve Garden Herb Fromage Blanc with crispy crudites

-Use Traders Point Creamery 100% grass-fed ground beef in meatballs, chili, or hamburgers- and let them know you're serving them something healthy!

-Stop by the Green Market on Saturday to stock up on the best the season has to offer for your big football bash
