Fun Was Had By All at Free Cone Day
It was our pleasure to serve over 2,500 scoops of luscious chocolate, vanilla and banana Creamline Ice Cream on Free Cone Day! We also introduced our new "Sweet Sensations" non-fat frozen dessert. We overheard people raving about our stawberry Sweet Sensations. The event was perfect - the weather, the music, the setting and (most importantly) the people!
Folks listened to the lovely live music, bounced along on the hayrides, and learned about our unique sustainable, organic practices on a farm tour. We grilled hundreds of burgers, as everyone agreed that it was optimal "grilling" weather.
Our calves took center stage, munching happily in a new clover patch on the hill. We looked at them graciously, knowing that they are responsible for the fantastic flavor of our Creamline Ice Cream and Sweet Sensations frozen dessert. Our guests watched them eat their lunch, while they watched our guests lick up sweet, delicious goodness. Ah, sustainability tastes GOOD!
Thank you for making our Free Cone Day an overwhelming success!

Quote of the Week
Historically, milk was more than a luxury; it was critically important in the diet. For peasants, the cow kept the grocery bill down and the doctor away. With her ability to convert inedible grass into milk and cream, the cow was at the center of the domestic economy. Rich in protein, fat, calcium, and B vitamins, milk was known as "white meat," capable of transforming an inadequate diet of bread and potatoes into a passable one, especially for chidren.
