Dinner on the Deck!
On Friday, September 19th, we will be serving a delicious Organic Grassfed Beef Chili. The Chili is made with fresh onions, and Traders Point Creamery Fleur de la Terre Cheese. It will be topped with our homemade Chive Yogurt sourcream.
For a Vegetarian option we have a Black Bean Vegetarian Chili.
The meal will come with a Fall salad made with Local Apples and Toasted Walnuts.
All meals come with a choice of Lemonade, Iced Tea, or Milk

Oktoberfest Tickets Available
Tickets are now available online on our main webpage for Octoberfest, on October 26, 2008 from 12 to 6 pm. You may also purchase them at Traders Point Creamery. Tickets in advance are $8 and tickets at the Gate are $10.

Wine, Cheese, and Jazz Night!
We are happy to announce that there will be yet another Wine, Cheese, and Jazz Night! We really pride ourselves on our selection of wine, most of which are Organic. This event is relaxing and very enjoyable with the Jazz ambience. We do not have an exact date yet, but we are shooting for the end of the month. We will keep you posted!

This week's Special at the Restaurant is the Aloha Burger. It comes with a delicious Teriyaki sauce,
Fresh Pineapple, Red Onions, Traders Point Fleur de la Terre Cheese, and Garlic Aioli mayonnaise.
The Soup of the week is an End of Summer Vegetable Medley. It is made with a Vegan friendly vegetable
broth, along with Fresh Squash, Zucchini, Green and Yellow Beans as well as Local Onions and Carrots.
Also, we will be changing our menu in the middle of October, so be prepared for some new goodies!

Now is the time of year when nature’s bounty is at its peak! The Green Market runs from 4-8pm every Friday Night, Rain or Shine, from now through October. Please be prepared as most of the vendors accept only cash and check for payment.
Recipe of the Week
Tomato Salad with Mustard-Basil Dressing
1/2 cup Plain Traders Point Creamery yogurt
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh basil
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon graded Traders Point Creamery Fleur de la Terre
1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Romaine Lettuce leaves
2 large, ripe tomatoes, chopped just before serving (about 2 1/2 cups)
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients, except lettuce and tomato. Mix well. Chill serveral hours to blend flavors.
To serve, arrange lettuce leaves on four individal serving plates. Chop tomato and pile on lettuce. Spoon dressing over tomatoes, allowing 2 tablespoonfuls for each serving. Serve as soon as possible....because it taste so good!
