Baby Calf on the Farm!

Baby Calf on the Farm!

Traders Point Creamery would like to welcome our newest member of the team!

Charlie (as named by the girls in the office!) was born out in the pasture yesterday at around 3pm. It was a perfect birth and both Mom and Baby are doing well!

Charlie is the second calf of Rosa and Dennis, our prize Bull on the Farm.

Soon the Red Barn will be full of young calves! We are expecting lots more calves to be born before the end of October.

Charlie will be downstairs in the Red Barn for you to come and see him! So be sure to pay the Farm a visit!

Chicks on the Farm!

Chicks on the Farm!

Our patient Hen's have been sitting on their eggs for 21-28 days and their hard work has paid off!

We have a whole host of chicks on the farm ranging from 1 day to 6 weeks old! The older chicks are getting ready to join the other chickens on the farm so you will see them running about the farm soon. You will have to wait another 5-6 weeks to wait for the younger ones to grow before you see them on the farm!

We have about another 10 eggs which are still waiting to hatch and should do so within the next month!

These two are some of our favourite chicks, they are around 1 week old!
