Come In From the Cold!!
BRRRR! These sub-zero temperatures are No fun to stand around in! Fortunately for the cows, construction has begun on two new Hoop Barns here on The Farm.
These barns, each 100 feet long, will house up to 80 of our Milkers on these cold Winter days and during the long hot days of Summer. The barns will also be used for hay storage and extra space for the calves. Having the cows off the pasture during exceptionally muddy days will also help protect the pastures from compaction and soil erosion.
What lucky cows! We're always "Jumping through Hoops" for them!!

Winter Farmers' Market
Come on out for great local food at the Green Market here at Trader’s Point Creamery! John and Kelly of Seldom Seen Farm will be back selling CSA Shares…what’s a CSA Share, you ask? Well, it’s a way for you to guarantee great local food ALL SEASON from your favorite grower by paying for it up front. This allows you to get your food at a greatly reduced rate while giving the grower the funds to pay for the seeds and other start up costs for the upcoming growing season. It’s a real win-win for all involved. There are other vendors at TPC that sell CSAs, so ask around!
We can’t WAIT to see you on Saturday! (9-Noon)
