Free Cone Day On The Farm!

Come celebrate Summer's arrival with Free Cone Day on the Farm!

Free Cone Day at the Farm!
  •  Saturday, May 30th     1-5pm

In addition to free Creamline Artisan Ice Cream Cones, we'll also have activities for the whole family, all FREE!

  • Hayrides through the pasture
  • Tours every hour (2, 3 and 4 pm)
  • Calf-petting - come meet and greet the newest members on the farm!
  • Enjoy the Live Music of "Touch of Grass" Band

Enjoy your ice cream on the Deck underneath an umbrella with a view of the blooming flowers, or inside our charming 1860s Loft barn.

Two Choices for Delicious Food! Lunch will be available for purchase from 11-3 inside or Enjoy a freshly-grilled, 100% grassfed burger, local brats, or hot dogs Grilled out on the Deck 12-4pm. 

Coupled with Live Music, a lovely Farm Tour, Hayrides, Calf Petting and  a Free Ice Cream Cone....it doesn't get any better!

 it'll be an afternoon to remember!

Summer's on its way and deck weather may be here to stay!  Come join us for Friday's Dinner on the Deck!

This week enjoy a BBQ Pulled Pork Quesadilla with Black Beans, Roasted Peppers, and Lettuce.  For those not wanting meat, we'll have Trader's Point Creamery Cheese Quesadilla wth Black Beans, Roasted Peppers, and Lettuce.  Quesadillas will be garnished with avocado aioli, and served with  Spicy Fromage Polenta with scallions, and Citrus Coleslaw with papaya, asian pears, sweet onions, and carrots.


Kids Options: “Nino Pobre” (Poor Boy) Quesadilla or Organic Hot dogs and Cheese grilled in a flour quesadilla

Beverages: Choice of ice tea, lemonade, water

It looks like Mother Nature may have another good Friday night in store for all of us, so join us from 4-8 PM for farmer's market on the pasture, and stay for dinner on the deck. Under the bright tent canopies, you will find fresh greens, asparagus, cherry tomatoes and lots of other wholesome groceries and treats. If you haven't tried Zen Sheep Farm's ground lamb balls, follow your nose toward the delicious aroma and get a free sample along with a copy of the recipe. We guarantee you won't leave without some of their ground lamb.

Take home excellent artisan cheeses or a quart of homemade ice cream in an endless variety of flavors from Swiss Connection. If you are grilling or picnic-ing this weekend, get sausage and burgers from Phelps Family Farm, or fryer-ready chicken from Seven Springs Farm. Whatever your plans are, our creative and hard-working farmers, bakers, cooks and artisans have got you covered!

The menu changes based on the availability of ingredients (we always use the local bounty first!).  Stop by and try Chef Emily's latest creation !
 
Organic Beer and Wine are always available to accompany your meal or enjoy at the end of the day with our Cheeseplate!

 
Make a trip to the Dairy Bar to enjoy a cone, shake, smoothie, float or homemade cookie.
Milkshakes make for an extra-special treat after working in the yard - stick with the standard flavors, or try our new Banana Cream Pie Milkshake!



Day Camp on the Farm

 

Farm Camps Are your kids interested in learning about life on the farm?  They can come spend three days being real "farm hands."  We'll help milk cows, collect eggs, work in the garden, and tend the animals.  It won't all be work - we'll also spend time hiking along Eagle Creek, discovering the ecosystem within and around the Creamery.  And, of course, we'll make crafts and food!  Come meet new friends at the Farm and eat the Creamery's yummy treats Every Day!  

Date:

  • July 7th - July 9th (child is entering 2nd or 3rd grade in the fall)
  • August 4th - 6th (child is entering 4th or 5th grade in the fall)

Time:

  • 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Cost:

  • $180 per camper ($10 discount for siblings attending either week)
  • Includes snack each day, crafts, and cookout on the last day of camp

TPC CHOCOLATE BANANA MILKSHAKE

2 scoops banana, vanilla, or chocolate ice cream

1 ripe banana (optional if using the banana ice cream)

1 cup of Trader's Point Creamery Milk or Chocolate Milk

Place all items in blender.  Blend until creamy and smooth.  Add more milk for a thinner milkshake.  Pour in a glass and enjoy!
