You Are Invited To Our International Dinner featuring Recipes of South/ Central America!
Friday, July 11th 5:00-8:00pm
Traders Point Creamery hosts a wonderful group of interns from around the globe! We are pleased and excited to bring you an array of amazing food, including some of their favorite regional dishes, as part of our Friday night "Dinner on the Deck".
This week’s Menu features “Pastelon de Platano Maduro”, a Mildly Sweet and Spicy 3 Layered Dish. This authentic dish from the Dominican Republic was introduced to us by Felipe, one of our creamery interns who is a student at the University of Zamorano in Honduras. Our award winning Fleur De La Terre Cheese acts as the perfect base, followed by Mashed Yellow Plantains and topped with our 100% Organic Grass-Fed Beef, seasoned with Peppers, Onions and Garlic. Words cannot describe how delicious this entrée is! Accompanying this taste sensation we are offering coconut rice with Guandule beans; a delicious side dish brought to us by Lisbeth, an intern from Panama. Our vegetarian option this week is a popular dish from Central America; Chayote squash stew over rice.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy Latin and Salsa Music, Organic Wine and Beer as well as a very special dinner.
Adults - $16.00
Children - $6.50
All meals come with Lemonade, Iced Tea or Milk.

Cowgirl Creamery Artisan Cheeses now available in our Store
We are pleased to introduce more fabulous Organic cheeses to our already fantastic collection. Our resident cheese maker Fons Smits, who developed Fleur De La Terre, also formulated Mt Tam, Red Hawk and St Pat while he was in California.
Cowgirl Creamery’s signature cheeses from San Francisco are smooth, elegant triple creams. Our three favorites, which we have decided to stock for your pleasure are:
Mt Tam – a buttery cheese with a mellow earthy flavor:
Red Hawk – A washed-rind, fully flavored cheese, which won Best-In-Show 2003.
St Pat – A seasonal springtime cheese wrapped with nettle leaves which impart a smoky, artichoke flavor.
If you’re a fan of our Fleur de la Terre, you’re sure to love these cheeses too.

It’s safe to say that Traders Point Creamery has touched all of our lives one way or another since it’s launch 5 years ago.
To celebrate our Five Year Anniversary, we would like to invite you to share your experiences of the Farm with us, and write an essay describing the Traders Point Products and/or our Organic Family Farm Practices that have impacted your lives.
We don’t mind how you portray your views to us; whether it’s as an essay or a poem – or any other kind of literature.
Of course, with every good competition there’s a very good prize. There will be Awards for the best essays in four age groups:

• Are you looking at food labels to see what’s in your food or more importantly, what’s Not in it?
• Do you appreciate the farm and where it is located? Is it cool to have a milking farm in the middle of suburbia?
The essay deadline is Monday 11th August and the awards will be presented on Friday 15th August at our Dinner on the Deck from 5-8pm.
